With the demanding professional percussionist in mind, Sela released the CaSela Pro Satin Nut cajon with a snare throwoff switch. It was made in Germany using high-quality components. It's a perfect, portable all-in-one instrument that can be a bass drum, snare drum and hi-hat at the same time, making it a highly popular instrument amongst street musicians. The cajon can add an exotic South-American flavour to your performance, and with the many available accessories, you'll have plenty of ways to expand you palette of possible sounds.
Sela CaSela Pro Satin Nut cajon: Throwoff Switch
The CaSela Pro is quite different from your average cajon. It features a small switch on the side that allows you to disengage the snare wires from the front plate. When the snares are engaged, they add the familiar clear sizzle to the sound of the instrument. However, when you use the switch to disengage them, you'll get a short, pure sound, reminiscent of the sound a conga makes. You can use this switch to quickly adjust your sound while you're playing, incorporating it into your performance.

Snelle levering. Degelijk en tof instrument!
De cajon na het uitpakken meteen geprobeerd. Mooie klanken, zowel met als zonder snare. De switch werkt erg gemakkelijk. Een mooie aanvulling op onze drum- en percussioninstrumenten.
Daarnaast zoals altijd: 's avonds besteld, de andere middag in huis!
De Sela CaSela Pro Satin Nut cajon met switch is een zeer veelzijdige cajon van hoogwaardige kwaliteit.
Als eerste ziet de cajon er fantastisch uit. Het oog wil ook wat en wordt zeker niet te kort gedaan. De slagplaat ziet er fraai uit met de lichte verticale streep in het midden.
De cajon voelt solide aan en wiebelt niet als je er op gaat zitten.
De hoeken van de cajon zijn lekker dik. Dit komt een slap ten goede. Er zitten geen schroeven in die hoeken. Dat maakt het afstellen van de klank makkelijker. Uitstekend muziekaal denkwerk van Sela!
De snare is door de switch makkelijk aan en uit te zetten tijdens het spel. Hierdoor is het makkelijk tijdens het spelen van klank te wisselen. De switch is ook solide uitgevoerd. Top.
Uiteindelijk gaat het om de klank: deze cajon heeft een warme diepe klank in de base en toch een lekker scherp slap op de hoeken. De hele range aan geluiden die elke cajonspeler wil. Voeg daar de switch aan toe en je hebt twee cajons voor de prijs van een. Heerlijke cajon.
Als laatste wil ik Bax een pluim geven voor de bijzondere service. De eerste cajon van een ander merk beviel niet. Na een telefoontje had ik in twee dagen deze Sela cajon in huis. Betere service is er niet.
